Sutter Amador Hospital has received a generous $100,000 donation from the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians. This contribution aims to strengthen healthcare services and improve outcomes for patients across Amador County.
The funds will support the hospital’s Area of Greatest Need Fund, which empowers staff to respond to urgent healthcare priorities and invest in patient care innovations.
“The Tribe honors the tireless efforts of our local healthcare providers,” said Adam Dalton, Tribal Chairman. “This gift reflects our hope to help build a healthier community for all.”

By presenting this donation directly to hospital leaders, Tribal Council members and CEO Crystal Jack emphasized the Tribe’s dedication to public health and wellbeing in the region.
