Jackson Rancheria Donates $20,000 to 2020 Holiday Toy Drive

The Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians is proud to support the 2020 Matt Scott Racing/Amador County Sheriff’s Department Holiday Toy Drive with a generous $20,000 donation. This contribution will help bring holiday cheer to families in need throughout Amador County.

“On behalf of the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians, it is a privilege to support this year’s Holiday Toy Drive,” said Crystal Jack, CEO of Jackson Rancheria. “Many families are struggling this holiday season. We’re committed to giving back to our community, and we hope this donation helps brighten the holidays for local families in need. Please consider supporting the toy drive if you’re able to.”

The Holiday Toy Drive will be a drive-thru event on Saturday, December 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of Foothill Appliance at the Amador Shopping Plaza. COVID-19 safety precautions will be in place. Just drive up and drop off a new, unwrapped toy—Santa’s helpers will be there to collect your gift.

“There’s absolutely no doubt that the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians saved this year’s Holiday Toy Drive,” said Kevin Barnett, Toy Drive Coordinator. “We are incredibly thankful for this donation. With your help, we can create a joyful and memorable holiday for the children in our community.”
