The Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians is proud to support this year’s Matt Scott Racing/Amador County Sheriff’s Department Holiday Toy Drive with a $20,0000 donation to help families in need in Amador County.
“On behalf of the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians, it is a privilege to have the ability to support this year’s Holiday Toy Drive,” said Crystal Jack, CEO of Jackson Rancheria. Many families are struggling to make ends meet this holiday season. The Tribe is committed to coming together to support the community and we are hopeful that this contribution will make this holiday season brighter for families in need. Please consider supporting this year’s toy drive if you are able to.”
The Holiday Toy Drive will be a drive thru event taking place on Saturday, December 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of Foothill Appliance in the Amador Shopping Plaza. All COVID-19 precautions will be in place. Simply drive up with a new, unwrapped toy and Santa’s helpers will collect your donation.
“There is absolutely no doubt that the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians saved this year’s Holiday Toy Drive,” said Kevin Barnett, Matt Scott Racing Holiday Toy Drive Coordinator. “We are so thankful for this generous donation and look forward to making this a memorable holiday for the children of our community. If you are able to, please join us.”
