The Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians has announced the donation of $15,000 in matching funds towards this year’s Amador Giving Tuesday event sponsored by the Amador Community Foundation to benefit local non-profit organizations throughout the community.

“On behalf of the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians, it is an honor to have the ability to support this giving campaign and our local non-profits who do such important work in Amador County,” said Crystal Jack, CEO of Jackson Rancheria. “Now, more than ever, Giving Tuesday is critical for our non-profit community. We are hopeful that the donation will positively impact our local communities. Please consider supporting this year’s Amador Giving Tuesday if you are able.”

This year’s Amador Giving Tuesday takes place Nov. 29. This is the Amador Community Foundation’s eighth year coordinating its Amador Giving Tuesday event. In 2021, the Amador Community Foundation raised a total of $542,762 for local charities.
