Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians Supports 19th Annual Amador County Sheriff’s Foundation & Matt Scott Racing Holiday Toy Drive with $15,000 Donation

JACKSON, CA – The Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians is proud to announce a $15,000 donation in support of the 19th Annual Amador County Sheriff’s Foundation & Matt Scott Racing Holiday Toy Drive to help ensure that children and families throughout Amador County have a brighter holiday season.

“For nearly two decades, the Holiday Toy Drive has made a meaningful impact and brought joy and comfort to families across Amador County,” said Crystal Myers, CEO of Jackson Rancheria. “The Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians is honored to support this long-standing community tradition to help spread holiday cheer to those who need it most. Please consider supporting this year’s holiday toy drive if you are able to.”

The Holiday Toy Drive will take place on Saturday, December 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of Foothill Appliance in the Amador Shopping Plaza. Community members are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy to donate. Santa’s helpers will be on hand to collect gifts, and proceeds benefit local children, the Santa for Seniors Program, and the Amador County Sheriff Foundation Jr. Officer Programs.

Those who wish to make a monetary contribution can make checks payable to The Amador Sheriff Foundation Care of Matt Scott Racing Annual Toy Drive and drop them off or mail them to The Mountain Merchant, 40 N Hwy 49, Suite 1, Jackson, CA 95642.
