Rising Through the Ranks
Crystal Jack knows exactly what it takes to climb the ladder. Starting from an entry-level role in 2006, she recently became the Chief Executive Officer for the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians and Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort.
She began her career as a Compensation Analyst and quickly advanced to Compensation Manager, and then to Human Resources Manager in 2007. By 2010, she had become the Executive Director of Human Resources, a role she thrived in for nearly a decade.
“Crystal is a proven leader who has played a key role in Jackson Rancheria’s growth over the last 14 years,” said Adam Dalton, Tribal Chairman. “We are honored to have her as our CEO and look forward to accomplishing big things together.”
Leading With Purpose
Throughout her tenure in HR, Crystal worked closely with the Executive Team to evaluate the resort’s strengths as both an employer and a destination. In 2015, she led the implementation of new employment terms from the amended Tribal-State Compact.
She also launched major initiatives, including an on-site Medical Center and education benefits for employees.
Now, as CEO, Crystal oversees multiple Tribal and resort enterprises. These include the Casino and Hotel, Daycare Center, General Store, RV Park, wastewater treatment facility, construction services, off-site agriculture, housing, and more.
Crystal credits her success to her team. “I’m thrilled to continue working with the exceptional team at Jackson Rancheria,” she said. “Their dedication helped us reach where we are today.”
Local Roots, Lasting Impact
Crystal has also served the wider community. She contributed to the Amador Community College Foundation Board and the Workforce Development Board, helping promote education and economic development in Amador County.
A graduate of California State University, Stanislaus, she holds a degree in Business Management. Crystal, her husband, and their four children live in Amador County. They enjoy outdoor adventures such as motocross, camping, hiking, and exploring lakes and mountains.
