The Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians is pleased to announce the donation of $15,000 in matching funds towards this year’s Amador Giving Tuesday event sponsored by the Amador Community Foundation to benefit local nonprofit organizations throughout the community.
“On behalf of the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians, it is an honor to have the ability to support this giving campaign and our local nonprofits who do such important work in Amador County,” said Crystal Jack, CEO of Jackson Rancheria. “This year has been particularly challenging for these organizations and we are hopeful that the donation will positively impact our local communities while providing vital services to those who need it most.”
This is the Amador Community Foundation’s sixth year coordinating its Amador Giving Tuesday event. In 2019, the Amador Community Foundation raised $214,769 for local charities.
